My Services
I offer personalised online tuition designed to help your child succeed and feel confident in their learning. Whether your child needs support in Maths, English, or Phonics, I use proven strategies tailored to their individual needs. I have a particular passion for working with students who have Special Educational Needs or English as an Additional Language, ensuring every child feels supported and empowered. I also provide English tuition for students up to age 14, helping them strengthen their literacy skills and develop a love for reading and writing.
Lessons are tailored to meet specific learning needs through discussion, activities, and clear explanations. All lessons are delivered in English and use Pencil Spaces, a simple, user-friendly platform with a shared whiteboard for real-time collaboration, perfect for young students!
Both the student and tutor are able to write, type, highlight and draw on the same document. Each session is diverse, dynamic and most importantly, fun!
Each 50-minute lesson starts with a quick 'getting to know you' activity or a recap of previous lessons. We then set clear learning objectives and I provide explicit modelling to guide your child. The lesson includes interactive activities with real-time feedback to ensure progress, and ends with a fun game to reinforce learning.

Each lesson offers personalised support to help your child catch up, review missed topics, or focus on specific needs. Lessons include new content, guided practice, independent tasks, and a recap with feedback and goals. Follow-up activities are available upon request.
Package Options: 5 or 10-Lesson Packages
Includes First Session to Understand Needs & Feedback
Discounted 5- or 10-lesson packages are available. The first lesson focuses on understanding your child's needs, with each lesson personalised for progress. You'll receive a summary with feedback after each session and optional follow-up activities. Bundles must be used within three months.
Group Classes
I offer small group sessions tailored to the individual needs of each student. With groups of 3–6 students, I ensure personalised attention while promoting collaborative learning. Choose from flexible group options in:

Cancellation Policy:

General Guidelines

No-Shows / Same-Day Cancellations: Cancellations or missed sessions on the same day will be charged in full. Please adjust for GMT time.
1:1 Single Sessions

Full Refund: Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.

Late Cancellations: Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable to maintain my schedule and fairness to other clients.
Package Bookings (5 or 10 Sessions)

Non-Refundable Packages: Once paid, 5- or 10-lesson packages are non-refundable. Lessons can be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice.

Unused Lessons: Unused lessons can be cancelled and rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice.

Expiration: Unused lessons expire 3 months (90 days) from the first lesson unless agreed otherwise.
Unexpected Changes
I understand that things can change. If something unexpected comes up, please get in touch, and I'll do my best to accommodate you, depending on availability.
Payments
Payments must be made in full via PayPal or card before the lesson(s). I offer online tutoring worldwide with flexible scheduling. Payments are processed in GBP, and international clients may see slight changes due to exchange rates. All prices are listed in Pounds Sterling.

At Bright Owl Tutoring, professionalism and student well-being are at the core of my practice. As a member of The Tutors’ Association, I adhere to industry-leading standards. I hold an enhanced DBS check and complete regular safeguarding training to ensure a safe, supportive environment for all students.
